This winter transfer market is always a time of feverish rumour and possible big-money deals. Several prominent stars find themselves connected to moves out of their current clubs. This article explores some of the major figures that could be changing clubs in January.

Although the Black Stars' failure to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations, this has left the forward in contention, reports suggest an important transfer is close. The Bournemouth attacker possesses a deal with a sizeable buy-out clause active for a short period at the start of the month. Recent reports suggest the Premier League champions are now the frontrunners for his services. Former interested parties like Chelsea and Tottenham are said to have moved on to other targets, potentially opening the door for clubs such as Liverpool or Manchester United to attempt a last-minute move.

This England defender has excel for Crystal Palace despite a summer transfer to Anfield falling through.
